The company’s origins date back to 1952, when WSK — Wytwórnia Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego (Communication Equipment Factory) — was established. The company started with production of membrane devices. Taking advantage of available technologies, the factory started production of spring elements such as membranes and bellows. Later, based on these elements a whole range of on-board devices for aircraft was designed.

Now the company operates as a precision mechanics factory, which offers almost 300 products serving various purposes. For the aviation sector the company produces, among others: aircraft piloting-navigation equipment for general purposes, special purpose Aviation equipment adapted to particular airplanes, or helicopters, for example, current collectors for systems de-icing helicopters’ rotor blades.

In the 1960’s due to dropping demand for aircraft devices the decision was made to launch production of basic systems for steering anti-armor and anti-aircraft missiles.
