Stanisława Rogalskiego street
Stanisław Rogalski (1904–1976) was born on May 25, 1904 in Olomouc in Moravia. In 1926 together with Jerzy Drzewiecki and Stanisław Wigura he created a design team called RWD standing for the first letters of the creators’ surnames. After war he got the job of assistant to the chief aerodynamics specialist at Chase Aircraft in Trenton, New Jersey. In the years 1954–1968 he used to give lectures on applied aerodynamics at Erie and Princeton universities. After retiring he cooperated among others with the Space Research Center of NASA. For the institution he worked out aerodynamic calculations and designs of technical solutions for a moon vehicle.
