The main goal of the Foundation is to support aviators and the families of aviators whose health has been harmed as a result of their service to the society.
Among other goals of the Foundation is acquiring and later reconstructing and displaying historical aircraft.
One of the most precious airplanes, not only in Poland held by the Foundation is the basic German fighter plane used by Luftwaffe during World War II — Messerschmitt Bf 109 G6 “Gustaw” — extracted from the bottom of Trzebuń lake at the end of 1990’s.
This is the only specimen of this fighter in Poland and one of just a few preserved airplanes of this kind in the whole world. Messerschmitt Bf 109 G6 “Gustaw”, which has been renovated thanks to the efforts of the Foundation, consists of original parts and components in 80 percent.
